DES MOINES, Iowa — Drake men's soccer has made a promotion within their coaching staff. Veteran assistant coach Kyle Smith has been promoted to Associate Head Coach for the defending regular season runner-up Bulldogs.
Smith has served as an assistant for Drake in two stints spanning eight seasons. During his time in Des Moines, the Bulldogs have qualified for eight Missouri Valley Conference tournaments and reached five MVC semifinals. Along the way Drake has recorded three victories over top 25 opponents while 32 players have received All-MVC awards for their efforts on the field.
