Silver Minings: PFF ranks the Raiders 31st in their three-year salary cap analysis

Many see the year as a rebuild, with the Las Vegas Raiders season fast approaching. There isn’t a lot of young talent on cheap contracts, with the Raiders pushing heavy on veterans.

The biggest cap hits come from their brightest stars. Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams take up the majority of the cap, with Jimmy Garoppolo and others not that far behind.

PFF took the time to examine every NFL team's three-year outlook with the salary cap. The Raiders didn’t fare too well, coming in at 31st in the NFL.

The Raiders are pulling in two different directions from a roster construction standpoint, recouping a grand total of a compensatory third-round pick after moving on from quarterback Derek Carr and tight end Darren Waller in the same offseason.
