Solskjaer returns to Old Trafford

The Norwegian received an incredible ovation from the United supporters, while he interreacted with the fans near to the Directors' Box, posing for photographs, signing autographs and clapping towards the Red Army during the clash with the West Midlands side.

The Treble hero was signed by Alex Ferguson from Molde in 1996, before going on to score 126 goals in 366 appearances for United across his 11-year spell with the Reds.

During that time, Ole managed to capture six Premier Leagues, two FA Cups, four Charity Shields, one Intercontinental Cup and, most famously, the Champions League, which the Norwegian won at the death in the final against Bayern Munich.
