Fantasy Alert: Jason Brownlee Impresses Jets, 'Could Be a Surprise,' Says NFL Insider

New York Jets wide receiver Jason Brownlee has "impressed" early into the NFL offseason, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.

Cimini wrote the second-year pass-catcher "could be a surprise in the receiving corps."

Granted, Brownlee seemingly had an encouraging training camp leading up to the 2023 season as well.

The 25-year-old was ultimately a non-factor in the offense. In seven appearances, he caught five passes for 56 yards and one touchdown.

The competition within the passing game has gotten stiffer as well. New York signed Mike Williams and used a third-round draft pick on Malachi Corley.
